The Chattanooga – Hamilton County Rescue Service is a 501c3, non-profit organization comprised completely of volunteers who provide mutual aid rescue services to emergency agencies in the greater Chattanooga and Tri-State areas. CHCRS provides trained professional response in cave rescue, technical rope rescue and wilderness extrication in addition to providing air replacement services, light truck apparatus, 4x4 transportation and rehab services to fire, police and rescue personnel. CHCRS has served the community since 1937 and operates on the donations received from the community.
